Of Myths and Legend

For all the gaming hype out there for games featuring cybernetic species, medieval magic with castles and dragons, spacecraft, and warfare, it's hard to believe that there would ever be a game based on literature. As odd as it may seem, Odyssey: The Search for Ulysses is probably one of the first literature-based titles to make it near the top sales charts.

Rudolph, won't you guide my sleigh...
You're sure you want to go in there?

Based on Homer's Greek epics The Illyad and the Odyssey, Odyssey follows the course of events that took place in the epic, starting with the Queen of Ithica bidding the exhiled Herisius to search for her missing husband--the hero of the battle of Troy--Ulysses. During Herisius' adventure, he'll meet all the famous characters and places that you probably dreaded trying to spell in that lit' class you had to take. But it now seems so much cooler in Direct 3D.
