The Illyad, The Odyssey, and the nVidia

While it may seem like a name that belongs to the mythical legends of yesteryear, nVidia wasn't quite a part of Homers original visions. That doesn't seem to matter much now, though, as a 3D accelerator is required to take the journey in modern times (yes, I know it can also be 3dfx, ATI, SiS, or any one of a handful of other companies, it just fit the title, ok?)

Nice hut
Another portal. Or is it?
Hills, Valleys -- CYCLOPS!
I done bad...

At any rate, you'll notice from the moment you begin that the graphics are truly stunning. From the rotating menu screens, to the gorgeous backdrops, islands, sunsets, special effects, and other setups, it truly brings the tales to life. Remember the Island of the Lotus Eaters? It seems so much more like a bad trip at Woodstock when you see the city transform before your very eyes.

The voice overs, while not the best, were rather well spoken and at least fit the environment, but the music was stunning. I, for one, am a huge fan of a games having a good sound track. It can make even a bad game good, and it certainly didn't hurt Odyssey.
